This is one of my favorite Alesana songs.
I’m not a fan of screamo or post-hardcore or anything outside the confines of the kind of music bands with members in their late teens or early twenties singing anthems of the youth (or pretty much anything outside of pop-punk or pop-rock and similar genres) do. But there’s just something about Alesana (and their unique brand of not-screaming-but-scream-whining singing) that makes me like them. I know not a lot of people appreciate their music. Heck, even post-hardcore fans shun them. But I see something epic in them.
